Responsibilities

• Role in 5G Radio Access Network (RAN) Layer 1 (PHY) Firmware development

• Candidate is responsible for 5G NR PHY Layer Code development on QCOM proprietary CPUs/DSPs.

• Candidate will closely work with systems team, HW team and other cross functional teams to deliver quality software using well established software development processes.

• Resolve issues as reported by internal test teams as well as customers.

Skills

• Must have strong Embedded systems background.

• Familiarity with C programming.

• Familiarity with basic communications theory and signal processing.

• Familiarity with 3GPP 5G NR Specifications.

• Knowledge of multi-core, multi-threaded programming, and associated OS concepts

• Familiarity with industry standard software development, Linux Usage, and debugging tools (IDEs, build systems, git, gdb)

• Experience working collaboratively within a distributed team.

• Python is useful but not required.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
