In this role as a Senior Project Manager , you will be responsible for the successful delivery of their assigned project. This requires preparing, planning, executing, and controlling all aspects of the project either directly or through delegation with the project team. Successful delivery requires monitoring and controlling financials, works schedule, resources (including subcontractors) as well as managing the project stakeholders (internal and external).

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee a multi-skilled project team, ensuring compliance with the project Safety Plan and Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) standards.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety standards required by Honeywell and customers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain overall responsibility for delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Implement standard methodologies and utilize Honeywell's project processes and tools for effective project control.
• Direct daily operations of the project team to ensure efficient workflow and progress.
• Build and maintain trust with customers, ensuring clear communication and understanding of key project issues at a senior level.
• Manage effective communication with all project stakeholders to keep everyone informed of progress and issues.
• Define subcontract/supply requirements and collaborate with the Supply Chain to manage contracts and negotiations effectively.
• Ensure the project meets its financial objectives by controlling billing and costs and maintaining the estimated actual cost at completion.
• Develop and implement proactive risk management strategies, monitoring project risks and providing regular updates to management.

Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Information Technology (preferred); tertiary qualifications in Project Management are preferred, and additional education in management or project management is advantageous.
• Proven experience in project management, including budget ownership, resource allocation, scheduling, forecasting, and planning, preferably on projects exceeding $10M.
• Demonstrated experience in safety and safety management on large commercial and infrastructure projects.
• Experience delivering large and complex building management and HVAC systems.
• Commitment to mentoring and developing junior or less experienced team members.
• Proven ability to develop and lead a high-performing team.
• Strong customer relations skills and proven commercial and contractual acumen.
