EY Manager - Financial Services Tax

Your key responsibilities

  • Provide Australian income tax advisory and compliance services to clients in banking, wealth management, asset management including superannuation funds, and insurance sectors.
  • Advise a portfolio of financial services clients on complex tax issues, managing compliance, provisions, and tax advice.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, becoming a trusted advisor.
  • Oversee and develop a team to ensure quality delivery of tax services while collaborating with the global EY tax network.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Australian corporate income tax and/or fund tax experience ideally gained in a top tier accounting firm, mid tier accounting firm, corporate business (including superannuation, insurance, banking and wealth and asset management) – 5+ plus years of experience

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and complex engagements, with strong influencing skills to pull the right levers to drive the best outcomes

  • Excellent client facing skills with the confidence to lead client meetings and build a network

  • An ability to articulate complex technical information into succinct, well-informed recommendations to your clients

  • Completed CA qualifications or equivalent
