Your Role and ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will:
- Execute test case (manual or automated) to ensure software applications function as intended across various banking modules including account opening, transactions, lending, etc.
- Participate in all testing phases including unit, integration, system, performance, and user acceptance testing.
- Identify, log, track, and report defects and issues using bug tracking tools.
- Analyze test results and create detailed problem reports.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure issues are prioritized and resolved in a timely manner. Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts, and other QA documentation.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 1+ years of experience in software testing specifically in the banking domain.
- Understanding of testing methodologies and frameworks.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Banking industry knowledge required.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools like Selenium is a plus.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Strong knowledge and project experience in core-banking system
- Experience using a combination of third-party and open source tools to test automation solutions
- Experience in group/business/project unit level full-end testing solutions
