There will be many opportunities for you to learn and grow into this role and Microsoft. However, to be able to best deliver on the purpose of this role, these are the core skills and experiences you should have on day one:
- This role should have working knowledge of key industry sectors, the context of technology in these sectors and have dealt with the relationship management of customers and partners.
- Ideally you will have at least 8+ years technology sales, technology business development or deep experience working in the Tech Sector.
- Ability to communicate directly with senior customer, partner and industry leaders.
- A good understanding of cloud technologies, transformation initiatives and ideally Microsoft solutions in this space.
- Have expertise with enterprise solutions and partners; leadership, sales, negotiation, organizational, creative, presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Operations, Computer Science or a related field AND 5+ years experience in partner management, sales, business development, or partner channel development in the technology industry or related experience
- OR equivalent experience.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Business Administration, Business Science, or an advanced degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) or a related field AND 8+ years experience in partner management, sales, business development, or partner channel development in the technology industry or related experience
