Job Title: MS Solution Architect, SAP - Senior Manager
The MS Solution Architect is responsible for driving, designing, shaping and crafting the SAP AMS deal. The person should be able to provide directions and “Go-to-market” strategies to growing the firm’s AMS demand along with aiding the deal lead in value proposition, win themes.
This role will be responsible for developing relationships across the business/multiple service lines to understand requirements, applies experience to propose right solution with deep technical knowledge of SAP and proactively articulating these to the business
Key Responsibilities
- Design and shape the MS deal shape, working closely with the Deal Lead to ensure alignment with client needs and EY standards.
- Leading the deal solution including, understanding the requirements, attending client’s Q&A, estimating the size, staffing, costing the deal
- Bringing in the Best industry solution including usage of latest technology such as GenAI etc.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required to lead and motivate technical teams that deliver quality services.
- Assist and guide in transition and automation / AI driven solution
- Create proposals and participate client orals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions, commercials, and client requirements into cohesive and comprehensive MS deals.
- Create and deliver presentations that engage audience participants and respond to their questions and concerns Present complex and difficult messages skilfully
- Consistently maintain team members' focus on identified team or business unit goals
- Lead team for Design, Build and Operate AMS solutions
- Works across regions to create a Go-To-Market material for defined AMS offerings and services, and to qualify and develop opportunities within those markets.
- Finding opportunities and mining engagements liaising with pre-sales, vendors and various other EY internal teams to ensure highest levels of services are delivered to our end users.
- Participation in pre-Sales, RFPs and driving solution creation with help of AMS Pre-sales lead
- Support member firm to win AMS engagements
To qualify for the role, you must have/be:
- Strong technical and functional (SAP) knowledge and experience in all IT methodologies that will be used to guide the technical work of Technical Teams assigned to programs/projects
- Strong understanding of people, process, and technology operational models and their integration into MS solutions.
- Possesses an understanding of IT Services: service offerings, technical standards and policies, technical and business strategies as well as organizational structure
- Understanding of resource management, communication management, cost management, risk management, quality management, integration management
- Expertise in creating transition plans, Automation/AI solution and service management layers in line with industry standards and best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct and lead outsourcing services assignments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions that meet client needs and expectations.
- Encourage open communication between team members, allowing the team to bring forward ideas on how they can collectively deliver a more effective service
Desired Experiences:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology, IT, or a related field and/or Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, ITIL) preferred.
- 15+ years of relevant industry experience, including experience in developing integrated managed services solutions from a top tier Global Outsourcing services provider
- Experience in solutioning mid to large team (30 – 100+ FTEs) across locations, in an onshore-offshore model.
- Demonstrated experience in working with external resource providers and managing key vendor contacts to deliver value that is consistent with expenditure.
- Proven experience in designing and delivering complex MS deals, including multi-tower and first-of-kind engagements.
- Solid technical understanding of AMS solutions including SAP ERP system
- High Level Understanding of Application (including infra/platform) Architecture
- Should have experience with managed services deal creation process
- Stakeholder Expectation Management
- Have excellent communication, influencing and customer management skills
- Knowledge of SAP business processes
