This is a lead SME role, who will work across disciplines within the Industrial Manufacturing LOB to drive growth and reach critical business milestones.
Drive innovation and product roadmap to support mega trends such as Industrial Automation, Energy transition etc
The talent will drive the System solutions & architecture for key Advanced sensing initiatives in the Industrial manufacturing business including key BTI’s & Tech platforms.
Lead system documents development, including but not limited to system-level requirements, Interface Control Document, Hardware Requirements Specification, PCBA/Modules Design Specification, Hardware/Software Test Plan and related Procedure, Performance Verification Test Plan Procedure, Certification documents.
Serve as the interface to the Program Managers, Lead Scientists, Fellows and other IPT leads to coordinate sub-team technical and programmatic status and issues. Develop Systems Engineering Management Plan (SEMP).
Grow HSS capabilities in Advanced sensing and connected platforms, enable breakthroughs/NPI & product strategies. Monitor new technology trends, generate growth ideas, and publish white papers.
Proven experience in innovating new solutions and system development, preferably for Industrial manufacturing sensing platforms (RADAR, Heat Pump applications, Combi sensing etc).
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics & Communication from an accredited College or University with Min 14 Yrs of Industry experience. Candidates with master’s degree are preferable.
Should have proficiency in Electronics & Hardware Architecture designs and Integration. Perform customer flow-down requirement analysis, feasibility assessment, technical solution development including but not limited to test strategy and architecture development, test design and development.
Proficiency in Electronics / System Architecture designs & Proficiency in network & communication protocols for multi-industrial environments like CAN, Ethernet IP, Fieldbus, PWM, PIS/I2C, RF & wireless technologies. Experience in supporting certifications & interactions with regulatory agencies.
Should possess good exposure on the core sensing technologies (Silicone pressure, Hall effect, MEMS etc) to enable the product development and technology focussed projects.
Product development experience on the core sensing products (like Pressure sensors, Switches, Load sensors, Torque sensors, RF & wireless based packages products).
Experience in providing in-depth technical guidance to development teams and technical support to customers and support teams.
Should have proficiency with certification requirements and quality standards for Industrial, Automotive, and Transportation verticals.
Responsible for product /solution validation, using new methodologies, DOE, architecture risks mitigation, automation and simulation planning and execution.
