In this role, you’ll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.


Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain Workday Core HCM module (high level overview of Core Compensation and Security modules is appreciated)
  • Experience in gathering requirements and handling project through implementation/rollout and hyper care & support phases
  • Performing impact analysis, recommend solutions or workarounds, implement configuration changes related to HCM module
  • Troubleshoot system issues, investigate errors, and provide timely resolutions to ensure system reliability and user satisfaction.
  • Experience in application support in resolving complex issues and requested raised by local users
  • Stay updated with Workday releases, new features, and industry trends, evaluating their impact, and proposing relevant system enhancements


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Mandatory Workday HCM Implementer Certification
  • Experience in application support i.e. daily ticket resolution
  • Strong Workday HCM knowledge i.e all hire to retire business process such as add job, change job, switch job, hire, termination, resignation, change org assignment, payment elections etc., condition rules, pay group assignment rules, calculated fields, knowledge of business process security and domain security policies
  • Experience of EIB and Advance Loads
  • Knowledge of testing is an added advantage
  • Should be able to independently work on troubleshooting Workday queries
  • Should be able to research and find solutions from Workday Community
  • Experience in New Feature Release
  • Good communication skills
  • Proactiveness, ready to learn and investigate and derive root cause of issues
