Job Description
The IT Service Management Analyst is a member of the AMS Global Support Functions organization. This position works with Enterprise IT, Finance, and Operational areas to support the delivery of IT services in support of Finance and Corporate business outcomes. The incumbent is expected to work collaboratively with internal Company IT product management colleagues, and third-party solution providers/suppliers, consultants, and contractors with a strong focus on IT Service Management processes, finance application support, and analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues. This position ensures alignment with the organization’s quality and compliance requirements, as well as activities related to sustainment efforts, maintenance, and stability of the applications.
Responsibilities
- Ensure end-to-end operations management.
- Coordinate and collaborate with various technical teams to handle critical incidents related to finance business processes.
- Support the finance monthly closing and reporting cycle.
- Development of related reports and dashboards for finance IT related processes. Ensure IT operations meet business needs for speed, quality, and compliance.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process simplification and improvement.
- Co-Lead client-facing monthly and quarterly financial close daily status calls
- Support product teams with in-depth analysis and understanding of application data processing.
- Create & maintain relationships with stakeholders in the assigned area.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of application management experience with hands on experience related to finance applications.
- Advanced Excel and analytical skills and using IT applications to organize and analyze data.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of ITIL and IT Service Management.
- Effective communication skills (oral & written) with demonstrated attention to detail and experience in multicultural communication.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve business outcomes while working independently in a highly complex and dynamic environment.
Preferred
- Knowledge of SAP (finance modules)
- Experience using PowerBI reporting tools
- Experience supporting enterprise applications, overseeing managed services
- Experience with managing outsourced service providers.
- Experience with Service Management Tools (ServiceNow), including Incident/Service Request, Change and Problem reporting.
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to influence and build relationships across broad range of stakeholders.
