Description
You will work in Field Design Engineering team in Shanghai. This role will involve in Software and Hardware R&D from initial phase, working on different wireless technologies(including 5G, LTE, NFC, GNSS technology, WiFi/Bluetooth, UWB) from design/prototype phase till finalization and post production/launch to end users. We are looking for talents have related background in the video processing with AI/ML related technology, and the you will join in the project related to video quality assessment.You will work with our excellent Apple Engineering team , to develop Applications/Process/Modeling for challenging innovation projects. This includes to study and qualify relevant features at system level, from functional and performance perspective. Run focused experiments to understand and identify root cause of any issues and raise proposal of innovative ideas to influence the design from user experience point of view. - Assist to build up comprehensive database with various data from live network and real user scenarios - Run experiment or simulations to prove the idea and refine the methodology and evaluate from real user experience perspective
Minimum Qualifications
- Student of Bachelor or Master degree (Preferred) in EE/CS areas, with computer vision and related knowledge or experience.
- Available to join internship for 6-12 months full-time.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written (In both Chinese and English).
- Self-driving and self-motivated to find smart ways to tackle issues
- Good teamwork spirit
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong programming skills, OO design by Python, C/C++, Matlab preferred. Be comfortable working in Linux, MacOS, iOS/Android/HarmonyOS development experience is also welcome
- Mathematic Modeling expertise and related project experiences
- Image/Video/TxT processing project experience. Project experience on iOS/MAC OS is highly preferred
- AI/ML, Data Mining and Deep Learning skills
