About the Role
The Payroll Analyst will be primarily responsible for the Rapid7 US Payroll. There is potential to take on some Global payroll processing over time. To be successful in this role you will need to ensure payroll inputs align with the outputs, while adhering to the approved payroll deadlines and assigned pay dates. In addition, you will act as a Team Player and be able to support your team members as needed for backup purposes.
In this role, you will:
- Process US payroll end to end in ADP WorkForce Now.
- Prioritize payroll processing according to the approved payroll calendars and deadlines to ensure compliance.
- Audit payroll register to payroll inputs, research, and correct discrepancies.
- Work on payroll problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
- Partner with stakeholders across the organization as needed.
- Respond to all internal customers’ inquiries within the assigned SLAs.
- Assist as needed with month-end closing queries as they relate to the payrolls.
- Understand Rapid7’s Leave policies and how they relate to your assigned payrolls for compliance and accurate payroll purposes.
- Access online banking systems to initiate all necessary funding payments for payroll, taxes and benefits as designated per country.
The skills you’ll bring include:
- 2-4 years’ experience supporting US multi-state payroll, Global payroll is plus.
- Experience with Exempt and Non-Exempt payrolls
- General knowledge and understanding of 401k, Benefits, and US payroll legislation
- Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets
- Familiarity with general accounting principles
- Commitment to excellent customer service and time management due to varying deadlines.
- Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to interact within all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and solid analytical skills.
- ADP WorkForce Now experience required.
- Workday experience is a plus.
