Bachelor’s degree or anything equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of experience in retail, brand, or omnichannel marketing;2 years additional experience in lieu of a degree.
A sharp eye for design, a passion for art & science of retail marketing.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and experience presenting to internal and external cross-functional and leadership teams.
Project management experience managing agency partners, vendors and budgets.
Pro-active information-seeking skills, with the ability to balance creativity with organizational and procedural excellence in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.
Strategic thinker and idea generator with excellent attention to detail, coupled with analytical skills to gather business, consumer insights and apply learnings.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
As the
Lead, Retail Brand Marketing - India,you will be responsible for driving India’s retail brand offense across different channels.By collaborating with stakeholders to ensure seamless execution and elevated brand expression across the retail landscape, focusing on priority campaigns, product launches, and sports moments, you'll help elevate how the Nike brand shows up in the marketplace and foster deeper connections with customers.
In this role, you will:
Plan and execute seasonal and 365 storytelling and retail activations in key doors across different channels in Nike India (Nike Stores and Multi-brand partners).
Manage localized retail marketing calendar and ensure projects are delivered in a timely manner.
Create scaleable retail brand guidance for local partners to adopt and execute across all retail tiers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on marketplace mapping, and help define the roles each retail door and channel will play as we deliver multiple brand stories and programming throughout the season.
Drive clarity and alignment on retail brand direction and deliverables, seasonal process and requirements with cross-functional teams.
Champion and reinforce brand standards excellence to internal and external partners.
Ensure full alignment and coordination with the SEA&I Visual Merchandising (VM) and EKIN territory teams to create holistic country retail marketing plans.
Together with the SEA&I channel leads, co-manage annual country retail brand and VM budgets across different channels to maximize resources and deliver on time.
Manage the local retail brand and VM agency team as they execute seasonal and 365 retail marketing plans in country.
Contribute to regular exchanges with multiple teams across Nike to share ideas, best practices, and learnings.
Partner closely with Nike Direct Stores and Nike Marketplace Partners team to influence and reinforce retail concept marketing direction and brand standards for fleet expansion and elevation.
