Job Requisition: Vendor Management Lead (Irving C13)

This is a highly flexible, Hybrid position (2-3 days in office), supporting EMEA/NAM hours. The role will work US/NAM support 3 days a week, the hours supported will be 7AM EST – 4PM EST (or 17:00 IST to 1:00 IST). Then, 2 days a week in EMEA hours 7AM-4PM UK (12PM IST to 21:00PM IST). Flexibility on start/end hours will be arranged with the right candidate +- 2hrs , to support family and life, however, this is the dual shift model needed.

The VM Lead will perform end-to-end analysis, implementation, execution, management, oversight and reporting with third party relationships owned by the organization. The VM Lead will partner with Management, Third Party Officers, Third-Party Utility, Sourcing, Legal, and other groups in order to be successful. The role centers around having trust and partnership with various people and functions, and leveraging these relationships in order to be effective and efficient.

The VM Lead relies on a foundation of developed skillsets and training; however, must also leverage dynamic decision-making abilities and have the willingness to constantly learn and adapt. The VM lead must have excellent organizational skills and do well when working on many different tasks at one time. The role will report into the Vendor Management Head and have several globally located colleagues, meaning virtual meeting mastery is critical to success.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent project management, planning and organizational skills.
  • Proven individual contributor, willing to take on work and drive results on their own. Problem solver.
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, influencing skills. Excellent team player.
  • Must manage/track self and others, on a number of different tasks at one time
  • 7+ years experience with negotiation and/or change management
  • 5+ years experience in Project Management and/or related areas, using PM skills.
  • 5+ years experience working with other countries and businesses areas.
  • 2+ years experience in a supplier/third-party function or equivalent/related experience.
  • Ability to build presentations and present complex and sensitive issues to management.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral – with ability to sell upwards to senior management.
  • Desire to learn, tackle new challenges as they arise, and grow the role - no day will be the same.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience. Masters preferred.
  • Excellent Written and Spoken English
  • Additional languages a plus.
