Minimum qualifications:
Preferred qualifications:
- Associate's degree, trade school certification, verifiable training in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of electrical, mechanical/HVAC or controls experience in an industrial or commercial environment.
- Experience with control systems (e.g., power management systems, Building Management System (BMS), SCADA, field devices) or automation.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs (23 kg) of equipment, and work on platforms, ladders, and under raised floors and ability to work differing rotations/shifts and non-standard hours.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in maintenance of critical large-scale facilities (e.g., Data Centers, Pharma/Medical/Electrical installations) including maintenance of UPS systems, generators, and associated devices.
- Knowledge of PLC's, meters, devices, sensors, relays and troubleshooting utilizing standard hand tools, digital metering, or calibration/diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with contractors who perform maintenance or projects on these systems.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new processes, procedures, and equipment.
