What to Expect

The role of the Maintenance Supervisor is to optimize expenditures and technician productivity through best practice planning methods that support best practice scheduling and ensure safe, reliable plant operation. The Supervisor works jointly with Maintenance technicians to organize repairs which are production critical (Forklifts, Tugger, Mobile equipment’s inside factory). The Supervisor is responsible for distribute & organize work in maintenance team. The Maintenance Supervisor will be assigned to a centralized planning group reporting to the Associate Manager and Maintenance coordinator. The Supervisors primary responsibility is to review notifications, create maintenance orders and plan labor and material required to execute the order where technicians execute repairs on shop floor/ Workshop. Other duties can include scheduling, requisition of materials, maintenance order management and Flux Database maintenance. This requires a working knowledge of Flux (Tesla software) and a functional understanding of maintenance craft skills, tools, and equipment in the areas of responsibility.

What You’ll Do
  • As a workshop supervisor, you are responsible for activities in the workshop and ensure a smooth and quality-conscious maintenance process
  • In your role, you serve as a role model and ensure that the production/respective shops achieve the required quality and service goals
  • You lead the team with motivation, coaching ideas, and a feeling for the further development of the individual
  • In close cooperation with the Manager and other key stakeholders, you set targets (KPI) for quality, speed, and costs according to TESLA guidelines
  • You will oversee and ensure that all employees comply with the service center's safety policy and safety program
  • The organization, planning and implementation of weekly working hours, substitutions, holidays, and absences due to illness, etc. are part of your area of responsibility
  • You participate in the selection of team members and ensure the necessary training and further education plans.
  • You conduct regular feedback and annual appraisals for employee development independently and with the manager.
What You’ll Bring
  • You have at least 2-3 years of experience in a similar position in the technical field.
  • 24 Hours maintenance service & flexibility to work in shifts at construction site not in Building or Offices.
  • As a team player, you manage to lead and develop your team and enjoy dealing with a wide variety of characters.
  • You feel comfortable in a constantly changing environment with new technologies, strong customer relationships and complex processes.
  • You are an organizational talent, always think strategically and analytically and keep an overview even in difficult times and concentrate on the essentials.
  • You are an open-minded personality with a hands-on mentality and have a pronounced customer orientation.
  • You are business fluent in German and have good knowledge of English.
