WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Partner with the APAC Sales Leader to develop and implement strategic plans for the APAC region in alignment with overall company objectives
- Partner with the APAC Sales Leader to provide technical leadership to our customers and prospective customers in conjunction with helping our team meet their sales targets
- Provide presentations to our customers and prospective customers such as whiteboards, demos, and PoV (proof of value) outcomes
- Help our customers and prospective customers plan in-depth test plans for showing the value of the Wiz platform in their environment (PoV)
- Invest time in learning new product features, industry related developments, and broadening your overall technical skillset
- Represent Wiz in technical forums such as trade shows, technical meetups, and industry events
- You will thrive as a technical leader of the team; not only in performing team leadership, but also getting your hands into the technology
- You will be the trusted advisor to your customers for all things related to cloud security across AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Work closely with other global Solutions Engineering leaders to share best practices and drive consistent processes
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product management teams to develop and deliver effective go-to-market strategies
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the APAC Solutions Engineering team
- Lead and manage a team of Solutions Engineers; providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure their professional development and success
- Set clear performance expectations and objectives for the team and provide regular feedback and performance reviews
- Coach and develop Solutions Engineering managers; providing guidance and support to enhance their leadership and coaching capabilities
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- 5+ years leading a team of Solutions Engineers and first-line SE Managers, across multiple customer segments
- Recruit, retain, develop and coach a team of regionally focused skilled SEs and leaders
- Partner with sales and product groups to drive operational excellence and efficiency
- Drive team accountability to deal management in Salesforce.
- Ability to travel 25-50%
- Cloud security experience
- Familiarity with SOC & CDR
- AWS/ Azure/ GCP hands-on experience
- Network engineering experience / background a plus
- Strong operating system, virtual machine and container knowledge
- Knowledge of risk-based security assessments and frameworks
- Understanding of cloud identity, access, certificates and keys
- Experience with traditional CSPM tools and / or cloud infrastructure security
- Technical SaaS Selling experience
- Awareness of the CI/CD process
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code
