Our Public Sector teams help customers build a deeper understanding of hyper-scale cloud technology and application architectures, and they have the consultative skills required to drive successful outcomes.Internally, you will be an advocate acting on behalf of the customer to help drive continual improvements to the AWS platform, sharing their needs and wants to inform the roadmap of AWS features and services. You will also help shape the future of the Solutions Architecture organization by helping to hire, coach and mentor others.
You will participate in the creation and sharing of recommended practices, technical content and new reference architectures (e.g. white papers, code samples, blog posts) and evangelize and educate about AWS technology (e.g. through workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking, online videos or conferences).Key job responsibilities
* Fluent in Dutch is a mandatory requirement for the role
* Own the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific business initiatives and projects. You should understand the wider industry, with experience and skill in how applications and services are delivered and consumed.
* Develop a deep expertise in AWS technologies.
* Consult on and provide leadership for the broad AWS cloud strategy in Benelux public sector organisations. You will help customers articulate and navigate their cloud journey, and be accountable for ensuring tactical activities and point projects are aligned with the overall technical strategy.* Be a thought leader, comfortable with speaking in public. Conduct one-to-few and one-to-many sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or already using AWS.
* Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS architecture community, including authoring or otherwise contributing to AWS customer-facing assets such as whitepapers, blogs, code, and sample architectures.
* Act as a technical liaison between customers, engineering teams and support.
* Demonstrate the "art of the possible" using demonstrations and proof-of-concept code.About the team

* Fluent Dutch speaker
* In-depth knowledge of cloud computing, software and/or data engineering, and enterprise architecture principles.
* Strong background in delivering complex, mission-critical technology solutions.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

* Hands-on experience with AWS core services, especially in designing scalable and highly available solutions.
* Experience in domains like infrastructure architecture, database architecture, software architecture, and networking.
* Experience working witch container orchestration technologies as well as CI/ CD tools, practices.
* Experience with application modernization.
* Experience working with public sector organisations, regulations, and procurement processes.
