We are looking for a Software Engineer, who can drive appropriate technology choices, lead the way for continuous innovation, and shape the future of our software applications. You will build services to help enable Finance teams to access information quickly and make decisions that impact Amazon. You will be interacting with data engineers, product managers, UX designers and front end engineers to understand the key requirements, lead the design and development of software services. - Design scalable and fault-tolerant platform components that will power full-stack applications for building compelling user experiences
- Write clean, maintainable code and perform peer code-reviews.
- Work in an agile / scrum environment to deliver high quality software- Help define and implement standards and promote best Operational Excellence (OE) practicesA day in the life
- Design and implement individual components of a system- Support with operational tickets and raise the bar for OE

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 3+ years of Video Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops) experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
