Your Impact

• Track and maintain prepaid expenses, ensuring proper amortization and expense recognition in accordance with US GAAP.
• Prepare journal entries for prepaid transactions and ensure accurate postings to the general ledger.
• Perform monthly reconciliations of prepaid accounts in Blackline and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Procurement, and Accounts Payable teams to ensure correct classification of prepaid expenses.
• Support month-end and quarter-end close activities, including variance analysis and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with SOX controls and company accounting policies.
• Assist in preparing audit schedules and supporting documentation for internal and external audits.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of prepaid expense accounting.

Your Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in prepaid accounting, general ledger accounting, or financial reporting in a large US MNC.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial controls.
• Experience in SAP (or other large ERP systems) is a plus.
• Proficiency with Blackline or other reconciliation tools is preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills with experience in financial analysis and reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with a proactive mindset.
