As a Mechanical Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be a key contributor to the design and development of cutting-edge mechanical solutions. Your expertise in mechanical design and development will contribute to the creation of innovative products and solutions that meet the needs of our customers. You will play a critical role in leading and driving the mechanical design process, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and reliable products. You will report directly to our team lead and you'll work out of our location in City, State on a hybrid work schedule.In this role, you will impact the development of mechanical systems, components, and assemblies. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and define mechanical requirements and specifications will enable seamless integration with other components and systems, enhancing the overall performance and functionality of our products.• Lead and drive the mechanical design process, from concept to production
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define mechanical requirements and specifications
• Design and develop complex mechanical systems, components, and assemblies
• Perform mechanical analysis and simulations to ensure product performance and reliability
• Bachelor’s degree and product design experience
• 3 - 5 years mechanical design principles and methodologies
• Proficiency in SolidWorks software and other design tools
• Experience with mechanical analysis and simulation tools
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Proven track record of successful mechanical design projects
• Ability to lead and mentor junior engineers
• Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices
• Experience with product testing and validation
• Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processesAdditional Information
