As a Full Stack Development Intern, you will work closely with our stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain in-house applications. You will have the chance to collaborate on various projects, enhance your coding skills, system design and gain valuable industry experience.
• Design, implement, test and deploy algorithms and back-end for in house application.
• Create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for in house web based applications.
• Collaborate with hardware and process engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of the software with the physical testing equipment, followed by rigorous testing and validation.
• Build automation tools to minimize manual processing of data.
• Maintain detailed documentation of the system architecture, codebase, and user manuals to support future development and maintenance.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for maximum performance.
1.You are currently studying towards your degree inComputer Science, Information technology, Electrical and electronics, Applied Physics, Automation and control engineering or a related field.
2. Solid experience with Python and SQL.
3. Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, or Angular).
4. Understanding of Image Processing libraries: Python, OpenCV, MATLAB.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Nice to have: experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, experience with image and signal processing, knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, knowledge of Git.

Next to that, we are offering a decent internship package:
Monthly full-time allowance between €500 - €700 gross, depending on educational level and if you would need to relocate to The Netherlands. If you will perform a part-time internship you will receive the allowance pro-rata.
Housing compensation, in case of relocating to the vicinity of the office, €300,- net if location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, €255,- net for all other Philips locations. You need to provide a rental contract of the land lord, and your normal home-work travel distance need to be more than 50 km or travel time (one way trip) need to be more than 1.5 hours.
Travel compensation, if you are not eligible for a free public transport card; you will receive max. €192,- net.
Paid holidays per internship term.
The opportunity to buy Philips equipment at our Philips shop.
In order to be considered, you have to be registered as a student during the entire internship period. Formal documentation will be requested. Please note that the contents of our regular internship assignments are not suitable for professionals (and/or MBA students) with professional work experience.
