In this role, you’re expected to:

• Utilize knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts, and basic knowledge of other technical areas to identify and define necessary system enhancements, including using script tools andanalyzing/interpretingcode

• Consult with users, clients, and other technology groups on issues, and recommend programming solutions, install, and support customer exposure systems

• Apply fundamental knowledge of programming languages for design specifications.

• Analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities and security issues, as well as conduct testing and debugging

• Identify problems, analyze information, and make evaluative judgements to recommend and implement solutions

• Resolve issues by identifying and selecting solutions through the applications of acquired technical experience and guided by precedents

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

• 4 – 8 years of working experience

• Strong knowledge on Java 17, Core Java, Spring, Hibernate and Restful web services including its data interchange format/definition such as XML, JSON .

• Working knowledge of Linux and/or Unix

• Working knowledge of Python, Perl and shell scripting will be a plus

• Familiar with different persistent storage technologies such as RDMS (Sybase, SQL Server or Oracle) and NoSQL like MongoDB or Couchbase.

• Familiar with UI frameworks such as React or Angular.

• Familiar with source code management tools – Git or Bitbucket.

• Familiar with messaging middleware (Solace, Tibco etc.) and IPC (inter process communication)
