Job Description:
You will be working closely with leaders across Venmo and PayPal to drive growth of customer and financial metrics for Venmo Checkout. This includes working with Product, Finance, Marketing, Risk, Operations, Sales and Analytics to ensure successful adoption, performance, and scale. You will heavily rely on data, customer insights and industry insights to identify the growing needs of the business and help prioritize initiatives to address those needs. The ideal candidate has exceptional analytical and communication skills as well as the desire and ability to drive projects forward by influencing cross-functional leaders. Candidate must have product growth strategy mindset and plus to have product experience.
Strategy
- Use data, customer insights and industry information to develop and refine our growth strategy and prioritize our efforts
- Identify, define and size new opportunities to determine potential for revenue generation & adoption and advocate for investment
- Define the next-gen Consumer value proposition using customer research, data, and an understanding of Venmo's overall strategy
- Understand Venmo and PayPal’s unique assets and capabilities that can be leveraged to accelerate growth most efficiently
- Create and socialize the narrative around Venmo Checkout to ensure the opportunity, and our plans, are well understood by all stakeholders
Execution
- Work across a large set of cross-functional teams, at all levels of the organization, to map out and drive initiatives through to completion (Product, Marketing/GTM, Sales, Risk, Finance, etc)
- Monitor key performance metrics & translate into actionable plans to drive growth
- Run and report out on our continuous planning process to ensure resources are being used most effectively
- Engage directly in Sales/BD efforts with potential customers and partners
Performance measurement & reporting
- Use data to build insights about business performance across financial services product lines
- Accountability for all metrics across revenue, margin & customer adoption/engagement
- Work with finance on establishing targets, including annual budget & tracking of risks/opportunities
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to make quick decisions in complex environments (e.g., across product lines, geographies, pricing levers etc)
- Proven track record of owning & executing on large cross functional initiatives, projects or products and delivering results
- Financial modeling, data analysis, and the ability to leverage analytics to drive sound decision-making
- Exceptionally strong communication skills, including experience effectively communicating with senior management and large clients/partners
Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years in general management, product management and/or management consulting
- Experience in Payments, Financial Services or E-Commerce
- Experience working in high-growth, fast-paced, performance-focused environments
- Innovative, self-motivated, collaborative, and capable of dealing with a matrixed organization

$118700 to $246290
