Software Engineering Internship - Network Drivers (Brno office, Czech Republic)

This long-term internship will give you the opportunity to gain experience in network drivers development, backporting from upstream and learning workflows related to new RHEL releases. By working with highly skilled developers, you will learn best practices and habits to become a successful developer in the future.

What will you do:

• Participate in upstream communities

• Work on backports, bugs and implementation of new features in network drivers

• Maintain userspace packages related to the network stack

What will you bring:

• You must be enrolled in a Czech university (Bachelor’s 3rd/4th year or Master’s) for the full internship duration and be able to work full-time within 2 years.

• Working knowledge of written and spoken English

• Familiarity with C programming, including syntax, data structures, and basic algorithms.

• Prior participation in open source software projects

• Basic understanding of open source culture

• Passionate, proactive, and willing to closely collaborate with the team on a daily basis

• Experience with Linux operating systems
