Job responsibilities
- Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
- Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
- Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
- Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
- Sets quarterly Objectives and Key Results with customers to define and measure the business value of product releases
- Facilitates User Story Mapping workshops to define each new release
- Collaborates with engineering and experience leads as part of the product triad to develop the best solution for each customer need
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
- Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
- Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
- Exceptional project management skills to track interrelated work streams, complex dependencies, and multiple stakeholders
- Superior oral and written communication skills to convey technical information to diverse audiences, including stakeholders, engineers, customers, and senior management
- Knowledge of relevant tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Hands-on with Agile Methodology and ceremonies – Ability to write analysis stories
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
- Experience with investment valuation and related financial reporting
- Familiarity with Venture Capital, Fund Investing, Private Equity, Credit, and/or Investment Banking products
