someone with 12-14 years of experience in SCM -source code management in the semi conductor industry would be a plus.

Infrastructure management of DESIGN Sync setup -identifying storage and server requirement

License utilization for the service -tracking and monitoring

Resolve day-to-day operational issues related to hardware configuration management.

Develop automation providing longer-term strategic benefit to the entire organization.

Support designsync client usage,

Install, configure, upgrade & maintain Designsync servers .

Support data management methodologies developed in house as well as by external partners.

Integrate multiple tools to provide the desired work environment for hardware engineering.

Integrate designsync with EDA tools.

Manage access control for Designsync.

Communication with both internal and external stakeholders.

Experience in using latest and industry standard hardware management tools and EDA workflows.

Regularly assess applications, hardware, and software.

Partner with different engineering teams to understand & collaborate on configuration management requirement.

Working with corporate clients to understand their requirements and put in place the changes in automation & tool configurations.

Ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.

Action driven with strong analytical skills.

Desire to be involved in multiple diverse and innovative projects.

Experience working with or maintaining EDA workflows

Minimum Qualifications:

• 4+ years of IT-related work experience with a Bachelor's degree.

6+ years of IT-related work experience without a Bachelor’s degree.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequently transports and installs equipment up to 20 lbs.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoots and debugs issues with networks, systems, and/or applications by completing complex root cause analyses, and escalates issues both internally and externally as needed.

• Manages project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with minimal supervision.

• Adapts to significant changes and setbacks in order to manage pressure and meet deadlines independently.

• Serves as escalation point from service desk to resolve advanced system and/or application issues by interfacing with users, other IT Engineers and vendors to resolve issues.

• Seeks out learning opportunities to increase own knowledge and skill within and outside of domain of expertise.

• Networks with colleagues within and outside of domain of expertise to gain insight, ideas, and connections.

• Monitors overall availability and performance of computer operating systems and/or software applications to ensure customers can access necessary systems and/or applications.

• Communicates with project lead via email and direct conversation to make recommendations about overcoming impending obstacles.

• Leads documentation of technical issues that affect a project or other areas of an overall system.

• Documents solutions and common processes.

• Contributes to technical conversations with tech leads/managers and brainstorms possible strategies for project completion.

Level of Responsibility:

• Working under some supervision.

• Taking responsibility for own work and making decisions that are moderate in impact; errors may have relatively minor financial impact or effect on projects, operations, or customer relationships; errors may require involvement beyond immediate work group to correct.

• Using verbal and written communication skills to convey complex and/or detailed information to multiple individuals/audiences with differing knowledge levels. Role may require strong negotiation and influence, communication to large groups or high-level constituents.

• Having moderate amount of influence over key organizational decisions (e.g., is consulted by senior leadership to provide input on key decisions).
