Description
As a software engineer on the Training Platform team, you have the following responsibilities:- Contribute to the architecture, design, development, and operations of large-scale systems designed for machine learning. These may include, but not limited to: data management systems, data engineering workflow systems, distributed compute systems, and their web portal & web service components.- You will help build the platform upon which other teams will develop data pipelines and machine learning applications.- Be able to learn and stay on top of current technologies and apply them in the job.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience with delivering user experiences in the form of Web Services built using Java and SpringBoot
  • Experience with developing and deploying on a Kubernetes based infrastructure is required
  • Experience running reliable production services with focus on observability and monitoring
Preferred Qualifications
  • A passion for data engineering, search and information retrieval
  • Experience with BigData ecosystem Spark, Flink or equivalent is desired
  • Experience with Solr, Lucene or OpenSearch is desired
  • Experience with delivering analytics backend services is a huge plus, where exposure to query engines like Trino or equivalent is desired
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $170,700 and $300,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
