Sr. Computer Vision & AI Scientist

Your role:

• You will be the subject matter expert for the X-Ray and Ultrasound-based image processing and A.I. algorithms used in Structural Heart Disease (SHD) therapy procedures. Your work directly supports physicians in performing such procedures by providing live image guidance during the intervention.
• As part of our SHD Venture team within the Image Guided Therapy Systems (IGT Systems) organization at Philips, you get the opportunity to collaborate with clinical key opinion leaders, Philips specialists and industry partners across the globe. You will work in a small, dynamic, team with highly skilled professionals, a quality focus, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
• In your role you will maintain and improve the existing software code base of classic Computer Vision algorithms and AI based algorithms, written in C++ / Python programming language. Furthermore, you prototype and develop new algorithms in compliance with process- and quality standards.
• The role provides a unique opportunity to develop your technical, clinical, and business knowledge/skillset by delivering algorithm releases used in clinical prototypes and (new) commercial products.

You're the right fit if:

• You have obtained a MSc or PhD in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering.
• You have over 5 years of experience in Deep Learning/Machine Learning, preferably in Medical Imaging or related fields.
• You are proficient in Python and C++, with a drive for continuous improvement. Experience with CUDA and C# is a plus.
