Your Impact
- Define and communicate the product vision, strategy and roadmap for firewall, VPNs and SASE, and related network security offerings.
- Conduct market research, analyze industry trends, and identify customer needs and opportunities.
- Understand the competitive landscape and position products for differentiation and success.
- Translate market requirements and customer needs into detailed product specifications and user stories.
- Prioritize features and manage the product backlog effectively.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation to end-of-life.
- Monitor product performance, gather feedback, and iterate on product features and functionality.
- Develop and implement go-to-market strategies, working with marketing, sales, and support teams.
- Effectively communicate the product vision, roadmap, and progress to internal and external stakeholders, including executive leadership, sales teams, and customers.
- Work closely with customers to understand their needs and gather feedback.
- Collaborate with partners and vendors as needed.
- Bachelor’s or master’s Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related technical field or an MBA with an established technical foundation.
- 3+ years of product management experience
- 5+ years of Network security, IDS/IPS, VPNs, networking TCP/IP, Routing and SASE Experience.
- Possess a strong understanding of network security concepts, including firewalls (Next-Generation Firewalls - NGFW), intrusion prevention/detection systems (IPS/IDS), VPNs, and related technologies.
- Have a solid grasp of Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) architecture and its components (e.g., SD-WAN, SWG, CASB, ZTNA).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their security offerings.
- Understand cloud security principles and how they apply to network security.
- Experience in product management, with a focus on network security products (firewall, SASE, etc.)
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing security products.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CCIE Security, or equivalent.
- Experience with specific firewall vendors (e.g., Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, Fortinet) and SASE providers (e.g., Zscaler, Netskope, Palo Alto Networks) is a plus.
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations and compliance standards.
- Experience with product analytics tools.
