EU Supply Chain is expanding its engineering team based out of Luxembourg, with new SDE roles, to build world class production systems supporting its Inbound & Placement operations. You will get an opportunity to work on cross-functional projects that are exploratory in nature, and will use latest technology for planning and optimization decisions. You will also get a chance to expand your domain knowledge working with some of the best business intelligence engineers, product managers and research scientists in the industry.This role will be of your interest if:

• Design & implement end-2-end solutions to address high impact business problems in Inbound & Placement space such as FC Bin Storage Capacity, Sub-Same Day Placement, Local Placement.
• Experiment with whatever technology we need to get the job done.
• Use Lean Software Development concepts such as Agile, Scrum and Kanban.
• Use Test-Driven Development and Continuous Deployment.
• Work with Principal/Senior Engineers, Researchers, and Business Intelligence Engineers across multiple Supply Chain, SCOT and AFT teams to design systems which help optimize supply chain management.
• Expand and optimize our world-class supply chain systems to support a variety of emerging business initiatives.About the team1.) Build features, products to serve the EU Inbound & Placement business goals.
2.) Sustain the existing products through regular bug fixes.
3.) Y-o-Y Improve existing internal/SCOT products through new features.
- Experience (non-internship) in professional software development
- Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
