- As a Manager you will be responsible for driving the projects from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to timelines, and quality standards.
- Define work schedules and track task assignment for the team and clear roadblocks and risks to enable product delivery
- Bring in efficiencies in the process/product methodologies, hiring and retaining highly talented engineers
- • Work with peer Managers, Product Owners, Architects, stakeholders, etc. to share/apply best practices at increasing efficiency and showcase status of the project to senior management and Executives
- • Create an environment for collaboration and high performing culture that is required to make this multi-site development team successful
- Motivate the team in applying processes and best practices in delivering HPS products
- Ensure Business Compliance and Integrity is maintained across the team
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, solution architects, and technical experts to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Develop and implement project management methodologies, processes, and best practices to streamline project execution and enhance delivery efficiency.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure on-time delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize project delivery processes, increase team productivity, and enhance client satisfaction.
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, providing regular project updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring alignment with client expectations.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching and mentoring to team members, and facilitate training programs to enhance their skills and capabilities.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop strategic plans, set performance targets, and drive business growth initiatives.
- Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 16+ years of experience with 10+ years of experience in IT & 6+ years experience in Software
- Development Management
- 2+ years of experience in software Release Management
- 2+ years of leadership using Agile software methodologies
- Has led a Technical team and been part of their Talent & Career Development.
- Good problem solver – technical solutions as well as conflict resolution
- Familiar with tools to track project & defect progress (github, Jira, etc.)
- Associated with automation including scripting (shell, python, perl, ansible), integration into frameworks like
- Jenkins, etc, and applied CI/CT approaches
- Adopted Agile, DevOps, and Design Thinking methodologies at work
- Proven ability to work effectively in a global team environment, forming & managing multiple projects across geographies
- Proven command over the English language, both written and verbal
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- 1 or more years of experience in Open-Source software development and management
- 1 or more years of experience with Z Systems hardware, operating systems, and middleware
- Knowledge of modern DevOps tools, such as Ansible, Git, Zenhub
- Knowledge of the Red Hat portfolio to enable hybrid cloud capabilities
- Experience with designing and building systems
