As a Software / Firmware Engineer, you'll become a key contributor, where your skills and input make a big difference. In this role, you'll design embedded software and development tools that will be used to test products. You'll write code that tells chips how to operate in revolutionary new ways. And, you'll work closely with business partners and customers, as well as TI's marketing, systems and applications engineering teams, to collaborate and solve business problems.

The work involves designing, simulating, implementing and testing firmware and control algorithms for motor control, communication and other modules for motor controller ICs.

The minimum qualifications required:

• B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical, Electronics or Instrumentation
• 5+ years relevant experience of developing and testing motor control firmware solutions
• Good understanding of control systems, motor control, embedded C
• Solid hardware and software debugging skills
• Strong technical background, with the ability to produce high quality technical documentation
• Good understanding of ARM based firmware development tools/eco system
• Strong Embedded firmware skills and experience
• Strong Assembly, C and C++ programming skills
