This role will sit within the Service Desk group in Dev. Productivity Service Desk is responsible for providing end user support of the Dev. Productivity applications. In this role your primary responsibility will be maintaining the Dev. Prod. applications and servers. Additionally, you will be an escalation point for our first line Service Desk engineers.

As a Site Reliability Engineer Senior II, you will be responsible for:

• Installing and maintaining Dev. Prod. servers and applications.
• Improving automation around various tools the team manages and develops.
• Identifying improvements in systems management and asset tracking.
• Providing support to first line Service Desk Engineers and working closely with engineering to solve production problems.
• Implementing tools to help diagnose or mitigate problems.
• Maintaining user documentation and knowledge bases.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Be experienced in administrating Linux/Unix environments
• Possess experience in at least one of the following: bash python, shell, or other scripting languages
• Have knowledge of knowledge of SQL (mysql, postgres)
• Demonstrate ability to collaborate effectively across teams and organization
• Foster a positive team environment
• Have solid written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to clearly document issues
