As a Senior Principal Systems Development Engineer, you will design, define and implement complex system requirements for customers and prepare studies and analyses of existing systems.
You will:
- Design comprehensive test strategies and author robust test cases for validating complex X86 and ARM-based server ecosystems, encompassing hardware interfaces, firmware modules, and system-level interactions.
- Own end-to-end validation execution, including test configuration setup, hands-on testing, defect triaging, and generation of detailed diagnostic and quality reports to accelerate issue resolution and product readiness.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product development, architecture, and quality teams to expand test coverage, enhance validation depth, and elevate the overall quality of deliverables.
- Leverage AI-driven insights from product specifications, design documentation, and telemetry data to proactively identify validation gaps and optimize customer experience through predictive quality measures.
- Develop and maintain advanced test tools and automation suites for in-use and regression testing, enabling continuous validation and faster feedback loops throughout the product lifecycle.
Essential Requirements
- 12+ years of progressive experience in demonstrating technical leadership towards hardware and firmware validation, leading initiatives that ensure high-quality delivery of enterprise server platforms.3 years of experience in AI/ML development, with at least 1 years focused on agentic or autonomous systems.
- Spearheaded the development of intelligent test automation frameworks, integrating AI and agentic tools to drive innovation and operational efficiency. Led cross-functional validation efforts across spanning across multiple technology areas like BIOS, FPGA, BMC, GPU etc, ensuring seamless product performance and reliability.
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, AutoGPT, OpenAI API, Hugging Face).Deep understanding of LLMs, NLP, and cognitive architectures.
- Deep expertise in x86 and ARM-based architectures, with hands-on leadership in validating Server hardware and firmware integration
- Directed validation strategies involving industry-standard protocols such as I2C and IPMI, and championed adoption of standards like Redfish for modern server management.Provided technical leadership across diverse server environments, including GPU-accelerated systems and OS platforms like RHEL, Ubuntu, and Windows.
