The Talent Operations Associate has a specialist focus and responsibility for the data accuracy, labor compliance and system oversight of the Talent function at GDS Philippines. The incumbent will have immediate system oversight, data integrity and focus on future consideration for Talent systems in EY.
o Support audit activities for HRE-managed processes by coordinating with auditors, providing required documentation and clarifications, reviewing and finalizing observations, tracking action plans to closure, and ensuring accurate updates in the centrally managed Audit Tracker.o Supporting the internal stakeholders to understand the business requirements, connect with the internal functions, share best practices, and overall encourage collaboration and connectivity
o Ensure complete control and compliance with applicable country regulations (monthly, quarterly, and annual) by tracking, reporting, escalating non-compliance issues, and updating the compliance tool with accurate inputs.
o Manage responses to regulatory notices and inspector visits by understanding queries, consulting with GCO, and ensuring timely and appropriate communication aligned with compliance protocols.
o First level contact for labor department related escalations following resolution efforts and Coordination of mitigation plans for resolution.
o Managing HR related compliances activities.
• Background Verification:o Support client-specific compliance requirements by sharing applicable checks and processes aligned with country guidelines and ensuring that identified employees undergo additional verifications as agreed with the client.
o Understand and have knowledge of all the local process from a legal perspective
• Graduate / Postgraduate with minimum 1-2 years of experience with good exposure in Philippines labor compliance activities and operations
• Very strong communication skills, critical thinking, and analytical ability, learning ability, interpersonal skills, dealing with ambiguity, teamwork, building relationships,
• Experience in project management – managing the deliverables of others
• Experience in team management
• Experience of working with virtual teams preferred
• Demonstrated ability to speak across various organizational levels
• Strong time management skills with the ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Amenable to work initially on a contract for 5 months. Regular role upon confirmation.
