A Day in the LifeWork/Life BalanceMentorship & Career GrowthJob ResponsibilitiesYour responsibilities will focus on solving real customer problems and will span across all aspects of development, from the design of distributed architectures, to the development of efficient networking protocols, from low level graphic and GPU optimizations to the implementation of elegant user interfaces.This position involves on-call responsibilities, typically for one week every two/three months. We don’t like getting paged in the middle of the night or on the weekend, so we work to ensure that our software is robust and reliable. When we do get paged, we work together to resolve the root cause so that we don’t get paged for the same issue twice.About the team

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar, or comparable years of experience
- Proven skills in designing and developing solutions to complex problems in a large scale enterprise environment
- Proven technical credentials with hands-on architectural or systems design experience
- Mastery of the tools of the trade, including familiarity with modern programming languages (i.e. Rust, C/C++, C#, Java, JavaScript)
- A track record of project delivery for large, cross-functional, projects

- Experience with large scale distributed systems- Experience with remote display protocols (Citrix, PCoIP, VNC, HP-RGS, Spice, MS-RDP, etc.)
- Experience with multi-media streaming
- Familiarity with AWS platform
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Contribution to a major open-source project
- Previous experience with protocol design and implementation
