Description
You will manage a diverse team of software engineers. Note that we operate at the daemon and framework level, your team will not be building UI. You will be responsible for task assignment and scoping; you will provide ETAs and be accountable for timely delivery. You are expected to contribute architecture guidance, code reviews and risk assessments. You will identify and align with cross-functional teams owning dependencies or API clients, partnering with many different teams within the Software, Services and AI/ML groups, as well as clients outside of Apple. You will work closely with QA and DAs to augment test coverage, reduce technical debt, validate new features and ship them at the expected quality. You will have the opportunity to plan a multi-year roadmap and lead the design, execution, and post-execution phases of software development. You will be responsible for the development of some of the brightest engineers in the industry.
