Key responsibilities

We are looking for strong candidates with experience of working within tax (in-house or professional services) or consultancy and with a keen interest in technology. Day-to-day responsibilities include to:

  • Develop excellent relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, supporting them with identifying new ways to use technology and advising them on the best way to implement these solutions
  • Give live demonstrations of EY’s technology offerings to internal and external stakeholders, advising on the best solutions to meet client challenges
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and work closely with our product team to share feedback and suggest solutions.
  • Support with go-to-market activities including drafting proposal materials, running training sessions, software implementations and ongoing support to ensure our clients have the best experience with the solution
  • Support with technology implementations for clients, building strong relationships and providing advice throughout the delivery of the engagement.
  • Work with wider EY teams to identify new opportunities for selling software to EY’s clients, as well as identifying areas where we can enhance and optimise the delivery of our services to clients using technology
  • Work with internal EY tax teams to support delivery of complex managed services engagements that utilise EY’s technology assets


What you will need:

  • Minimum of 3 years of Big 4 experience, or equivalent in-house or consulting experience
  • Professional experience in managing and delivering client engagements including scoping, managing delivery risk, execution, quality and review of deliverables
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both senior and junior stakeholders
  • Strong time management skills and an ability to work efficiently with little supervision, prioritising shifting workloads as needed in a fast-changing environment
  • A passion for technology and a desire to learn more about how technology can be used to help support our clients
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook etc.)

Ideally, you’ll also have some of the following (not required):

  • Accounting or Tax qualification (e.g. ACA, CTA, ATT)
  • Prior experience working in a tax, technology or business transformation role
  • Working knowledge of tax regulation and processes (e.g. FATCA/CRS, Corporate Tax, Indirect Tax etc)
  • Previous experience supporting clients to implement technology solutions
  • Previous experience creating go-to-market materials (presentation decks, proposals etc.)
