What you’ll do:

• Design and Implement Automation Frameworks: Lead the development of robust automation frameworks to streamline critical operational tasks, reducing manual interventions and increasing system reliability.
• Develop and Integrate Tooling Solutions: Create and implement custom tools that enhance monitoring, alerting, and incident management, ensuring rapid and efficient response to operational issues.
• Build Robust Observability Integrations: Develop and implement comprehensive observability solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing systems, providing deep insights into operational health and enabling proactive management of cloud infrastructure.
• Manage Multicloud Environments: Design and implement automation and tooling solutions that operate seamlessly across AWS, GCP, and Azure, ensuring consistency, reliability, and efficiency in a diverse multicloud environment.

What will you need to have?

• Extensive Experience in Automation: Proven track record in designing and implementing automation frameworks and tools, with a strong understanding of scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
• Cloud Expertise: Deep knowledge and hands-on experience working in multi-cloud environments, including the ability to design solutions that operate across these platforms.
• Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify operational inefficiencies, develop innovative solutions, and implement them effectively, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Advanced Tooling Proficiency: Expertise in using and integrating tools for monitoring, alerting, and observability, such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Elasticsearch, to enhance system visibility and reliability.
• Technical Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor technical teams, driving the adoption of best practices in automation, tooling, and operational excellence, while fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Extra great if you have:

• Security Knowledge: Understanding of security best practices in automated and multicloud environments, with the ability to design and implement secure automation solutions.
• Experience with Containerization: Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes, enabling efficient management and deployment of containerized applications.

The estimated gross base annual salary range for this role is$191,168–$245,234
