You’ll partner with product designers, engineers, researchers, and strategists to shape the voice, interaction patterns, and ethical guardrails of agentic commerce experiences.
You’ll bring a sharp editorial eye and deep UX instincts to a space that’s fast-moving and rapidly evolving. You’ll drive clarity through language, serve as a creative and strategic leader on AI-powered projects, and act as a connector across design, product, and AI engineering teams.

Responsibilities:
- Define how PayPal’s brand voice adapts for AI-powered experiences—from tone and behavior to interaction styles and fallback handling
- Lead the design and iteration of reusable content patterns, prompt frameworks, and LLM workflows that scale across teams
- Partner closely with prompt engineers, content designers, and researchers to test and refine AI output quality, trust, and transparency
- Contribute to overall design and product direction for agentic experiences, including product content and UI microcopy
- Drive content design quality across AI-led features in multidisciplinary pods and prototypes
- Mentor junior content designers while elevating our standards for agentic UX and conversational craft
Requirements:
- Has 10+ years of experience in content design, UX writing, or conversational systems—preferably for complex, consumer-facing products
- Has direct experience with AI, prompt engineering, or LLM-based systems
- Brings exceptional writing skills, systems thinking, and a strong POV on the future of agentic design
- Thrives in fast-moving environments and enjoys tackling ambiguous problems and shaping them into actionable frameworks, content systems, and testable prototypes
- Communicates with clarity and influence across roles, levels, and functions
- Is curious, collaborative, and excited to build in the open alongside peers across PayPal’s AI teams
