As a Senior Associate UX Researcher in the Wealth Management team, you will take on a more strategic role within the UX team, leading user research initiatives and providing high-level insights to drive design and product decisions. You will collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and senior stakeholders to ensure our products are not only user-friendly but also aligned with the strategic goals of our organization and the needs of our diverse user base.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and conduct comprehensive user research using a variety of advanced methods, including in-depth interviews, surveys, usability testing, and ethnographic studies.
- Design and execute research studies, overseeing participant recruitment, data collection, and analysis to ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to uncover deep insights, patterns, and opportunities for enhancing user experience.
- Develop and deliver detailed research reports and presentations, effectively communicating findings and strategic recommendations to the UX team and senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate with designers and product managers to integrate user feedback into the design and development process, ensuring user-centered solutions.
- Stay at the forefront of industry trends and innovations, incorporating new knowledge into team strategies and insights.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- 7+ years of experience in a UX research role, with a proven track record of leading research projects.
- Proficiency in a wide range of UX research methods and tools.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Keen attention to detail and a deep passion for understanding user behavior and needs.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Experience with advanced usability testing tools (e.g., UserTesting, Maze, Optimal Workshop).
- Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Figma) and an understanding of design principles.
- Experience in service/journey design and mapping.
- Proven ability to build relationships and advocate for user experience research at a senior level.
