J.P. Morgan’s Code for Good Hackathon

Top performing participants in the Code for Good hackathon may be considered for the Software Engineer Internship.

Code for Good Hackathon Details:

  • Location: JPMorgan Office in Glasgow City
  • Event Date: Friday, 4thOctober to Saturday, 5thOctober 2024

If you're ready to put your passion for technology to work in a way that makes a real difference, you’ll find your place at our Code for Good event.

Key skills include:

  • Computer Science, Software Engineering or STEM degrees are preferred
  • Pursuing a B.A., B.S. with expected graduation of June 2025 - Dec 2026
  • Foundational knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, Javascript, Java, C++, C#), databases, data structures and algorithms
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Applications are open to all and we particularly welcome interest from groups which are under-represented in the technology workplace.

About the process:

To be considered for Code for Good, you
mustcomplete all three of the following steps:

  1. Please read thebefore you start this application.
  2. By15thSeptember 2024 –Click ‘Register’ and submit your application for the Code for Good event
  3. Complete HackerRank coding challenge

Selected applicants will be asked to complete a coding challenge, powered by HackerRank. This is your opportunity to further bring your resume to life and showcase your experience. Completing HackerRank is required, and your application will not be considered for further review until you have completed this.

We strongly encourage that you apply and complete these required elements as soon as possible, since programs will close as positions are filled.
