Lead strategic communication campaigns that elevate PayPal Ads within the advertising industry, differentiating the company from current players.
Develop and execute sophisticated media relations strategies targeting mainstream, business, and industry publications, industry analysts, and keyadvertising/marketinginfluencers.
Craft compelling narratives around product launches, partnerships, and company milestones that resonate with target audiences.
Partner with business leaders, strategy, growth, and marketing to identify and capitalize on thought leadership opportunities in advertising technology trends for potential owned content including social media.
Elevate conference activations by coordinating on-site speaking and media relations at major industry events such as POSSIBLE, Cannes Lions, Advertising Week NY, CES, etc.
Work closely with colleagues within the PayPal Corporate Affairs team to reach target audiences (e.g. Employee comms to develop an employee engagement and learning program).
Required:
8+ years of communications experience with a focus on advertising technology, fintech with advertising components, or adtech platforms.
Proven track record in media relations with advertising industry publications and reporters, including emerging media such as podcasts.
Experience supporting conference activations and managing on-site media relations.
Exceptional writing skills with ability to translate complex financial technology and advertising technology concepts into compelling stories that highlight value.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
