What skills and qualifications do I need?
For this role it is essential that you have:
- 1-2+ years experience as Solutions / Sales Engineer, Technical Account Manager or similar
- Demonstrable experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and SQL. You should be comfortable reviewing the source code of a webpage and using Chrome Dev Tools to debug issues.
- Experience providing excellent service to customers, preferably in a technical role
- Ability to comply with tight deadlines, and provide creative technical solutions
Nice to haves include:
- Bachelor’s degree or professional certification in a technical field (e.g., Code School/Bootcamp)
As a Solutions Engineer, you will:
- Gain expertise in Taboola’s product offering for publishers, and serve as the technical point of contact for our biggest partners, leading them through successful implementations and ongoing optimizations of our products.
- Lead the creation and modification of custom user interfaces and logic for Taboola’s recommendation modules utilizing internal tools.
- Collaborate and communicate with business teams throughout the company, and directly with external customers’ product and technical teams, to successfully implement and launch Taboola’s products.
- Perform in-depth troubleshooting, including database analysis and reading system logs to identify and solve complex issues.
- Management of numerous tasks and resources in parallel, prioritizing customer requirements and requests.
- Write technical notes and documentation to be utilized by others on the team.

The pay range for this position in New York is $80,000 - $100,000. The pay offered may vary depending on several factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We may offer several perks as part of the compensation package that include a discretionary bonus, equity, flexible PTO, medical/dental/vision insurance, a competitive 401(k) match, paid parental leave, etc.
