Junior Accountant Internal Finance (Polish accountancy rules)Fixed-term contract

You will join the internal accountancy department with opportunities to develop your experience within Polish accountancy regulations. Additionally, joining us as a Junior Accountant will provide you with the possibility to improve existing processes.

Your key responsibilities

• Verification and posting of domestic and international business trips
• Timely and professional response to customer inquiries
• Posting, reconciling, and describing purchase invoices
• Identifying and implementing improvements to existing processes
• Performing monthly closing activities to ensure accurate and complete entries in the company’s accounting ledger, including necessary corrections

To qualify for the role you must have

• Minimum of one year of experience in bookkeeping in accordance with Polish accounting standards
• Strong English language skills - spoken, verbal and written
• Solid knowledge of Polish accounting regulations
• Good understanding of CIT and VAT regulations necessary to perform daily responsibilities
• Excellent PC skills required including Microsoft Office proficiency - especially in Excel
• Strong written and verbal interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to focus and good attention to detail
• Team player, energetic, open-minded personality
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent organization and time management skills in order to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to handle sensitive information appropriately and confidentially
• Strong work ethic and commitment to service excellence
• Availability within 1 month
