FSO- Manager
Job purpose

As a Manager, you will juggle multiple tasks in a high performing environment. You will oversee financial statement as well as review tax returns. You will also be responsible for relationship management. Relationship management includes: building lasting professional relations with key employees of clients; managing the staffing and economics of engagements; and analysing engagement results to continue to provide exceptional client service to our Insurance clients.

INSURANCE

  • High level of demonstrated technical proficiency to review and develop lesser experienced staff in the areas of client engagement management
  • 6+ years of experience with International taxation, and a solid knowledge of Tax Forms including "5471" OR "8858" OR "8865" OR "1118". Experience reviewing these returns is a must.
  • Experience in the review of statutory and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) income tax provisions
  • Knowledge of investment accounting policies and procedures (e.g. DRD, OID, Intercompany Deferrals, Corporate Actions, etc.)
  • Experience in applying the IRS rules regarding Investment, Market discount, OID Premium and loss reserve.

We are looking for the candidates with the following: (Qualifications)

  • Graduate/Post graduate in a finance, numerical or statistical background
  • CPA/CA will be an added advantage
  • 4 to 6 years of experience

FSO- Senior/Assistant Manager
Job purpose:

Develop, mentor and supervise Analysts and Advanced Analysts:

  • Act as a counselor for Analysts and Advanced Analysts
  • Proactively recognize issues and recommend solutions
  • Proactively seek opportunities to diversify client load and exposure to different teams
  • Foster collaboration and constructive communication within the team
  • Demonstrate basic presentation and public speaking skills, while actively participating in meetings
  • Communicate in face-to-face situations, by phone and via email, and determine the appropriate mechanism for communicating, given the situation
  • Display general knowledge of engagement “big picture” and work towards obtaining appropriate certification
  • Communicate your progress and the project status to supervisors worldwide
  • Take ownership of your schedule and proactively seek work when necessary to meet your annual chargeability goal
  • Adhere to practice protocol and other internal processes consistently
  • Explore the opportunity of going on rotation

  • Basic experience with international taxation, consolidations and a solid knowledge of "5471" OR "8858" OR "8865" OR "1118" tax forms.
  • Basic Experience in applying the IRS rules regarding Investment, Market discount, OID Premium and loss reserve.


We are looking for the candidates with the following: (Qualifications)

  • Graduate or Post Graduate in Finance
  • At least 6 months-3 years of experience, preferably in the similar field.
