We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Metrics & Reporting Analyst to join our dynamic organization. This role will apply a strong knowledge of technology, cybersecurity, data practices, and frameworks, as well as analytical skills, to gather requirements and design comprehensive cybersecurity dashboards, metrics, and reports providing transparency and understanding around Cybersecurity Risk and Threats that face us across our family of brands.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Independently assess and apply security governance frameworks and risk management practices to strengthen organizational security posture, while beginning to understand and align solutions with business objectives.
  • Partner with peers and internal teams to drive security risk and governance initiatives, contribute to cross-functional projects, and at times co-lead efforts to strengthen security posture.
  • Evaluate and mitigate security risks by implementing established governance frameworks and exploring alternative risk management strategies to address complex security challenges
  • Influence the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the team through informed decision-making, with a potential impact on other teams.
  • Collaborate with key partners to gather and incorporate feedback, driving continuous improvements in security governance processes and risk management practices

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualification:

In this role you will design impactful metrics, reporting, and data visualizations to drive consistent and defendable messaging to effectively communicate the cybersecurity landscape and risk posture with various stakeholders.

This collaborative role requires a blend of cybersecurity knowledge and analytical skills to generate insights to support data driven decision making and awareness of our capabilities and the treatment of risk in close working partnerships with engineering, architecture, risk management, compliance, legal, communications, government relations, and oversight teams.

Your day to day

  • Develop and implement effective cybersecurity metrics, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and key risk indicators (KRIs) through a centralized reporting capability

  • Collaborate across teams to integrate technical metrics into dashboards and reporting tools (like Power BI)

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness.

  • Translate data into actionable insights, identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in cybersecurity metrics.

  • Prepare timely executive & committee level reports and summarize variances related to cybersecurity programs, controls, and risk management efforts.

  • Prepare and maintain repository of process and metric documentation to support a culture of compliance and continuous improvement

  • Stay updated on emerging trends & best practices in cybersecurity metrics & reporting. Ensure cybersecurity metrics align with relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements.

What you need to bring

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities; risk management processes and practices; industry standard control frameworks and best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO); and prominent cybersecurity and privacy regulations globally.

  • Prior experience crafting First Line of Defense Cybersecurity Metrics and Dashboards

  • Experience creating reports to varied audiences (e.g., executives, engineers, customers, regulators, etc.)

  • Strong work ethic with proven ability to learn quickly, prioritize work, and manage complex deliverables to completion under established deadlines.

  • Superb investigative and influencing skills, including business acumen, stakeholder empathy, and conflict resolution, as well as general comfort working in a dynamic, global, fluid, and matrixed working environment.

  • Ability to approach and understand problems from a statistical or quantitative perspective and draw meaningful, accurate conclusions, as well as scrutinize models and inferences for misleading or overlooked considerations.

  • Demonstrable experience in designing and developing dashboards using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.

  • Candidates will be expected to provide metric and dashboard samples on relevant topics.

The US national annual pay range for this role is $84,500 to $140,250
