- Manage and deploy Windows Domain and Active Directory environment.
- Deploy Servers.
- Deploy and Manage Public Cloud Compute and Storage Set up and maintain server system and file security.
- Manage Lab and Production Infrastructure.
- Performing OS level Patching.
- Performing Systems and Hardware Level Upgrades.
- Deploy, Configure and Maintain Physical Storage (SAN).
- Monitor and optimize performance of servers.
- Manage Virtualization Environments.
- Maintain documentation of Environment and Processes.
- Work with vendors to troubleshoot problems and RMA parts as needed.
- Manage and deploy Linux server installations.
- Participating in an on-call rotation.
Have you got what it takes?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems or related field or equivalent work experience required.
- Experience Leading Projects and Delivering Solutions Through Completion
- 2+ years working in a Public Cloud environment.
- 3+ years managing and deploying Windows OS Servers preferably in a production environment.
- 3+ years managing and deploying Windows domains, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS and IIS.
- 3+ years performing and management of OS patching.
- 3+ years installing/configuring server hardware and OS.
- 5+ years managing and deploying virtual environments.
- 2+ years managing physical storage and SAN.
- 3+ years managing and deploying blade servers/Enterprise Compute.
- 3+ years hands on experience with engineering operations or enterprise operations.
- Experience successfully working in fast paced, production environments.
- Experience working within a team of IT professionals; taking and following direction and completing tasks and assignments in a timely manner with a positive attitude.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have good attention to detail, and the ability to make good, timely decisions.
- Be a Team-player, have a positive attitude and able to work with a distributed team in multiple time zones.
- Knowledge of protocols such as DNS, HTTP, SMTP and SNMP.
- Be a self-starter who is proactive, motivated and can work independently.
- Experience with Chef or similar technologies.
You will have an advantage if you also have:
- Configuration and management of HP Enterprise Servers and/or Cisco UCS.
- Experience working with config management and automation technologies.
- Comfortable working with changing timelines and deadlines.
- Experience working with CloudFormation.
- Experience with Linux Server deployment and administration.
- Experience working in a global production environment.
