Responsibilities
- Expanding the trading and data business in the region
- Engaging and establishing relationships with clients and partners such as proprietary trading firms, brokers, fintechs and data vendors
- Implementing the business and growth strategy for the region, taking account market trends, client profile and requirement
- Educating the market on U.S. equities and options
- Promoting the NYSE in the region
- Working with other internal teams to drive growth and identify new product ideas
- Cross-selling with other Intercontinental Exchange business lines
- Representing NYSE at industry events
Knowledge and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required
- Financial industry experience
- Knowledge and understanding in financial markets preferred, especially U.S. equities and options preferred
- Comprehensive understanding of the equities and options execution workflow and their varied business models
- Connections within the financial services industry such as the brokers, fintechs and proprietary trading firms in the region is ideal
- Strong personal integrity, confident and positive manner
- Entrepreneurial with a “can-do” mindset; demonstrates drive, initiative, energy and sense of urgency
- Work effectively in an independent environment
- Desire and flexibility to learn and grow in an ever-changing environment
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills
- Ability and willingness to travel regionally and do night calls required by the role
- Fluency in other Asian languages (Japanese or Mandarin) preferred
