Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • 1+ years of experiencein design and delivery ofHW engineering products.

This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years of experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • 1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
  • 4+ years of technical program management or project management experience or a technical role with systems engineering experience, preferably in Cloudsilicon,serverdesign,accelerators, Networking solutions, FW & SW development and deployment, andsystems solutionsfrom cradle to grave.
  • 3+ years of experience in managing a team of engineering and/or technical operations professionals responsible for critical systems and operationsin a matrixorganization.
  • Experience with hardware, firmware & software (system & application stack) interfaces across all modulesina system.
  • Knowledge of high-volume server design and manufacturing is desired.
  • Knowledge about datacenters &fleetoperationat scale.

Technical Program Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation. Responsibilities
  • networkingand datacenter operationsfromdocumenting a clear Plan-of-Record (POR) for the new product developmenttoleading the project team to meet stated milestones.
  • Drive the development, planning & execution of a holistic cross functional product development and/or launch strategy.
  • Provides technical leadership andidentifytechnical risks.
  • Collaborate with internal and external technology development partners to form a cohesive development plan.
  • Have an in-depth understanding of theproducttechnical requirements, milestones,deliverables,and interdependencies forestablishingan accurateand effective project infrastructure.  Leverage experience and engineering skills to solve problems, fillgapsand achieveobjectivesthrough a cross functional team.
  • Responsible for effective communication and escalation of risks and dependencies while ensuringtimelydecisions are being made.
  • Hold accountability for team and most or all portions of the work to deliver best in class architecturesolutions.
  • Theability to engage subject matter experts across disciplines to deliver the best outcomes.
  • Conducts risk management efforts in new product introduction, scenario planning and mitigation of risks, recovery from risks.
  • Communicate to and regularly interact with seniorleadership, highlighting risks across functional teams and providing recommendations to support product leveldecisions.
